I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and Social Cognitive Specialist currently based out of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Before becoming an SLP, I worked in many related positions including as a Social Thinking © assistant coach, an ABA behavioral therapist, and as a program manager for MGH Aspire’s summer programs. I now hold a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College, where I was lucky enough to dip my toes into a variety of settings, including schools, private practices, hospitals, and even tele-therapy. Throughout graduate school, I also worked part-time as an executive functioning tutor for Engaging Minds. Once a speech-pathologist, I decided that the therapeutic world was where my heart was at, and began working full-time at the Northshore Education Consortium, where I have had the privilege to work with students grades kindergarten through 12th with moderate-significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Here I learned the importance of teaching social communication through a neurodiverse and self-worth affirming lens, and discovered the value of consistent interprofessional and family communication and collaboration.

I always take a person-centered therapy approach, and love using my clients’ strengths and interests to enhance social communication and self-awareness skills. I am most passionate about the intersection between behavior and communication, and take an empathetic approach to teaching emotional regulation skills as they relate to communication behavior. I am a big believer in putting the FUN in functional communication, and love taking social connection tasks to the natural environment. Most importantly, I want my clients to feel confident in themselves, their communication skills, and their relationships.

In my spare time, you can find me teaching or taking exercise classes, performing or writing music, adventuring with my dog Cooper, or on the beach! I am overjoyed to be on the team at Key Connections! I cannot wait to help you or your child unlock your truest potential.
